<p><strong>1. Speak to a doctor as soon as you decide you want to get pregnant</strong> – With such a major change in your life, the first thing you should do is talk to your doctor. They can do some basic tests to ensure you are fit and healthy and find out if there are any problems you may not have known about.<br />
<strong>2. Educate yourself about pregnancy</strong> – Pregnancy involves a lot of changes to your body and a lot of changes to your life. Educate yourself so that you can deal with all of these life, and lifestyle, changes in the best possible way with the least amount of stress.<br />

<p><strong>3. Do classes</strong> – Once pregnant, you need to look at birthing classes and a number of the other classes available to you – especially if this is your first child. Classes are another form of education and the more educated you are, as mentioned, the less stressed you will be.<br />
